Replace one person's face with a different face
- Open the new face in GIMP. Use the Rectangle Selection tool from the toolbox to select the face.
- Edit > Copy.
- Open the old face image and Edit > Paste.
- Right-click the Floating Layer in the Layers panel and select New Layer.
- Adjust the size and rotation of the new face to match the old face. Change the opacity of Paster Layer to see the layer below for easier positioning.
- Use the Move tool from the Toolbox to align the faces.
- Right-click the new face and choose Add Layer Mask and choose Full Opacity White.
- Click the Paster Layer icon in the Layers panel.
- Select the Paintbrush tool from the Toolbox. Drag the tool across the parts of the new face's image that needs to be removed.
- Use the Blur tool to soften rough edges.
